This is a great place to add a tagline.

Beaver Scouting at the 1st Sheldon caters for children of 5yrs 9months up to 8 years old.

This section gives the children a safe introduction to our scouting, our motto is Fun and Friends, and our programmes are designed to back that up through everyday adventure.

The children are encouraged to develop teamwork skills, in lodges, and as they develop therefore they also undertake some simple leadership responsibilities, such as assisting other children to fit in.

Our leaders have many years experience with children of this age group and are able to encourage the children to challenge themselves in a very positive way.

The children undertake a programme of structured badgework based upon effort and personal achievement, culminating in a Chief Scouts Bronze award, which is usually attained just before moving to Cub Scouts.

Our aim is to help the children develop as resposible young people who are ready to enjoy the next stage of their scouting adventure with the Cub Scouts.
